Snow, Rain In The Forecast For Friday, Last Day Of Winter

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Winter's last gasp will take place on winter's last day here in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is forecast to receive between a coating and 3 inches of snow through Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm will start as rain on Thursday night and will eventually turn to snow overnight.

The snow is expected to start at around 1:00 AM for most of the state.

Most areas are set to receive an inch or two, with an isolated 3" possible. The weather will turn nicer later in the morning on Friday, with partly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 42.
