Podriamos empezar facil y decir Julio Iglesias, Luis Miguel, Shakira, jennifer Lopez, pero recordemos que muchos tienen dualidad de carreras y hasta 3 o 4 carreras al mismo tiempo.

Billboard Boxscore ha estado rastreando datos de giras y clasificando los mejores actos en vivo de todo el mundo en varios géneros musicales desde mediados de la década de 1980.

Bandas de rock clásico, trovadores country e íconos del pop han dominado durante mucho tiempo estas listas, pero en los últimos años, los artistas latinos se han convertido cada vez más en contendientes. Precisamente el año pasado, Billboard celebró el año con Bad Bunny. La superestrella puertorriqueña encabezó el ranking Top Tours de fin de año 2022, marcando la primera vez que un artista que graba principalmente en español domina el informe anual de Boxscore.

Eso no quiere decir que los actos latinos no hayan sido una parte vital del negocio de las giras globales durante años. La siguiente lista de los 20 actos más importantes del género abarca generaciones, con artistas principales de los años 90, 2000, 10 y la actualidad.

También vale la pena señalar que la música latina no es sólo un género. Más bien, el término general refleja las muchas intersecciones de culturas y comunidades en América Latina, España, Portugal y comunidades latinas en Estados Unidos y Canadá. Desde el reggaetón de Bad Bunny y Daddy Yankee hasta la bachata de Romeo Santos, pasando por el pop latino de Shakira y los muchos estilos del regional mexicano, estos artistas (y muchos, muchos más) han agotado las entradas en estadios en todo el mundo.

Esta lista se basa en las cifras reportadas a Billboard Boxscore, al 18 de septiembre de 2024. Las cifras finales se basan únicamente en la participación de los titulares (sin festivales) más el 50 % de los ingresos brutos de los titulares conjuntos.
